From a coffee and cake sale to a banana-themed fun run, there are so many ways to welcome people in and raise money for Fairtrade. Everything you do will support farmers and workers to fight for a fairer deal.
Whether you fundraise in a group or on your own, at school, university or in your community, we’re here to support you.
Through Fairtrade, poor farmers get better prices and decent working conditions. Your fundraising will improve the lives of farmers and workers by:
Supporting projects to bring Fairtrade to more farmers and workers
Helping strengthen their voices to negotiate a fairer deal
Helping them improve their farms
Building demand for their produce
Fundraising activities, especially the wacky ones, can be a fantastic way to raise awareness about Fairtrade. Alternatively, if you are already holding an event for Fairtrade, adding in some simple fundraising activities will maximise the impact of your efforts. Plus, they can also add more fun at the same time! To make it even easier, just order your donation collection box online here. Simply set up your box at your event and encourage your friends to donate – easy as pie!
For an all-in-one booklet, download our Fairtrade Fundraising Guide. This handy document includes everything you need, from fundraising ideas, hints and tips, to information about the difference your donations can make and the important legal things you need to know.

- Giving up chocolate for a year (yes really!)
To raise your sponsorship, we recommend setting up a page on JustGiving. You can also use the following sponsorship form.
