For the first time ever the Fairtrade Foundation launched Fairtrade Fortnight with a public event on London's South Bank.

A tea cup ride, a towering helter skelter, a Fairtrade coconut shy, candyfloss made with Fairtrade sugar, a fortune teller using Fairtrade tea leaves, samples of Fairtrade products and the chance to talk to Fairtrade producers were just some of the activities on offer to visitors.
