Product Samples for Community Events

Holding a Fairtrade Fortnight event in your community? These Fairtrade-friendly companies would like to offer you products to use for tastings, stalls or other events to help spread the message for Fairtrade.

It's always a good idea to approach local retailers and businesses to support your events with product donations, whether national supermarket chains, local independent shops or cafes, and anything in between.

The following companies are also interested in supporting Fairtrade community events across the UK with the following offers. We will be sharing more offers in the coming weeks so please revisit this page for more opportunities to order product samples for your events.

Divine Chocolate

Divine Chocolate, the only chocolate company in the world that is 100% Fairtrade and owned by cocoa farmers, are offering:

Equal Exchange

Equal Exchange co-operative are offering:

  • One full size 250g tub of organic, vegan Hispaniola Cocoa Powder from the Dominican Republic

Tate & Lyle Sugars

Tate & Lyle Sugars are proud to support Fairtrade, they have been making a positive contribution to thousands of small-scale sugar farmers in developing countries since 2008. In support of Fairtrade Fortnight, Tate and Lyle Sugars are offering the following:

  • 1 case of Tate & Lyle Fairtrade Granulated Sugar (10 x 1kg bags)
  • 1 case of Tate & Lyle Fairtrade Caster Sugar 1kg (10 x 1kg bags)

English Tea shop

In celebration of Fairtrade Fortnight, English Tea Shop is pleased to offer 100 bags of English Tea Shop goodies containing a mix of their products in each. 

If you would like to try out these products, please send an e-mail to Requests will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis or until Monday 21 January.

Each sample pack will contain:

  • 4 different Fairtrade blends of 20 tea bag packs
  • 10 pyramid infusers from English Tea Shop’s bestselling Fairtrade blends

Fruity Beauties

Please provide some brief information on your event and why you would like to have Fruity Beauties within your offering. Sample packs are limited in number, please submit your request by Monday 21 January 2019 and we will notify you if we are able to send a sample pack by Monday 21st January 2019.

Liberation Nuts

Liberation Nuts is the UK’s only Fairtrade nut company that’s part-owned by farmers. Their vision is of a world in which small-holder nut producers earn a decent, secure income and can plan for the future of their families and communities. Liberation buys nuts from small scale farmers in Nicaragua, Burkina Faso, India and Bolivia. For Fairtrade Fortnight, there are 50 cases of nuts available as samples for campaign groups. They will either be oven baked chilli and lime cashews with peanuts and roasted corn or roasted and salted cashews and peanuts. The sample flavours will be allocated at random. 

If you'd like samples for your event, please email including your postal address. Because there is a limited supply, they will be offered on a first come, first served basis. The deadline to apply for samples is Monday 21 January and they will be sent out early to mid February.


As the first ground coffee to earn the Fairtrade Mark over 20 years ago, Percol Coffee are here to support your efforts with a Fairtrade Fortnight sample kit. In it you will get:

  • Up to 5 bags of Roast & Ground coffee from the Plastic-Free range
  • Up to 20 sachets of coffee bag (they’re like tea bags but with coffee), from the Plastic-Free range
