Bunting for Justice
We did it! Guinness have now confirmed that we hold the world record for the longest piece of handmade bunting at 3427.94m. Here's a picture of the Fairtrade Campaigns team with the certificate. If you took part and would like a certificate to display for yourself, please
get in touch!
Thank you to everyone who participated in decorating bunting in Fairtrade Fortnight and to all of you who sent in your bunting flags to be part of our Guinness World Record. We were absolutely overwhelmed by over 140,000 magnificantly adorned flags, enough to break the record ten times over! An intrepid team of volunteers and staff did an incredible job of assembling as much bunting as we possibly could to Guinness World Record Guidelines, in order to break the world record on World Fair Trade Day in Battersea Park, London.
Take a look at the
actions you can take on the next phase of the Great Cotton Stitch-Up campaign and the latest information about next Fairtrade Fortnight, and
taking a step for Fairtrade in 2012.
