Donating to the Fairtrade Foundation is another valuable way of supporting our work. Ambitious awareness raising projects and the development of new Fairtrade products require financial support to ensure their long term success. By supporting our work financially you can help Fairtrade continue to be a force for positive change in developing countries.

| Are you a UK taxpayer? If so please fill out a Gift Aid form to allow the Fairtrade Foundation to reclaim the tax paid on your donation. This can mean an extra 28p* to us for every pound you give, at no extra cost to you. Download a Gift Aid Form

*Gift Aid is linked to basic tax rate which until
April 2008 is 22% - allowing us to reclaim 28p on each £1 donated.
After April 2008, basic rate tax will be reduced to 20%, reducing the
amount charities can reclaim to 25p in each £1. However the government
is providing what is known as ‘transitional relief’ on Gift Aid –
meaning that they will pay the Fairtrade Foundation an additional 3p on
every pound donated until 5th April 2011 meaning
that we still receive a total of 28p on every pound you donate. This
does not affect your personal tax position. |
