Give in other ways

and help bring Fairtrade to more lives

Fairtrade is making a real difference in the lives of over a million farmers in the developing world.
But there are many more farmers and workers still getting a bad deal from international trade, desperate for Fairtrade. Support the Fairtrade Innovation Fund and enable more people to turn their lives around.

There are lots of different ways you can support our work

Save for Fairtrade with the Triodos Fairtrade Saver Account

Looking for an ethical and safe investment for your money?

Triodos Bank logo
The Fairtrade Foundation has partnered with Triodos Bank, one of the UK’s leading social investment banks, to develop the Fairtrade Saver Account and allow you to directly support the work of the Fairtrade Foundation and fair trade businesses through your savings.

The Triodos Fairtrade Saver Account is a simple and secure savings account enabling you to save ethically and provide a healthy return on your money. Money deposited in the account will only be used to support ethical enterprises in the UK. Businesses such as Cafédirect and Equal Exchange, who pay a fair price to producers in developing countries.

So how does it work?
  • By opening a Fairtrade Saver account, Triodos Bank will donate the equivalent of 0.25% of the average balance of funds held in your account each year to the Fairtrade Foundation.
  • Additionally you can choose to donate a portion or all of the interest earned on your savings every year – this donation can also be valid for Gift Aid, giving us an additional 2 pence on every pound donated at no extra cost to you!

“The account links organisations like ours, the producers who supply us and UK consumer’s growing appetite for ethical products in a direct, practical way. It has the potential to bring very real benefits to us all.”
- Phil King - Financial Director, Cafédirect.

Recycle your mobile for Fairtrade

The UK throws away 2 million tons of electrical waste every year, the majority of which can be recycled or reused

Most of this 'e-waste' ends up at landfill, which is seriously bad for our environment.

So why not recycle your mobile phone? You'll be helping the environment and supporting the work of the Fairtrade Foundation at the same time. For every mobile phone you send in, we will receive money from our recycling partner ShP for Charity, which will go directly towards bringing Fairtrade to more farmers, workers and their families.

How do I recycle my mobile phone?
Take any unwanted mobile phones you have lying around your home and simply send them to us at the FREEPOST address below, with a piece of paper giving your name, address and contact details so we can send you a thank you:
