5th Chesham Fairtrade Birthday

Between 10am and 4pm, there'll be a selection of local produce stalls as well as stalls by Traidcraft, Transition Towns and more.
Upstairs, there'll be a floating Fairtrade Fashion show and between 1pm and 2pm, cookery demos.
There'll be a cafe and cake competition too.

Experience the Magic of Nepal

Fair Trade Product Stalls -
KTS hand woven rugs and Fairtrade products (Organic Tea, Hand-made Wrapping Paper, Silver Jewellery, and Pashmina Shawls) with products from other Nepalese Fairtrade Organisations including bags, knitwear, jewellery, handmade paper etc.
Food Stalls -
Samples of Nepalese cuisine, through London based Nepalese restaurants and Traders to heighten the experience of Nepalese food and culture.
Arts & crafts stalls -
Up to 50 stalls in total are planned for this event.
Demonstrations and workshops of Crafts -
Demonstrations and workshops of traditional Nepalese yarn spinning and rug weaving for participating school's pupils and onlookers to see and turn their hands to.
Community Arts and crafts Project Exhibition with schools -
A series of day workshops before the event, in collaboration with local schools, will aim to educate young children about Nepali culture and ethical principles, encourage them to create their own pieces of Nepali arts and crafts, to be displayed at the Market for sale.
