About the day 

Two separate workshops are being run for staff teaching Fashion and Business courses. Workshops are being run jointly by Fairtrade Foundation staff and lecturers from Liverpool John Moores University and Northumbria University who have succeeded in incorporating Fairtrade into their courses. Learn from their experience and receive guidance on how you can integrate Fairtrade into the courses you run.

'Embedding the principles of fairer trade in fashion courses'
Run by Doug Miller, Professor of Ethical Fashion, School of Design, Northumbria University
Having successfully integrated Fairtrade into coursework carried out by his 1st year fashion marketing students, Doug Miller will share how he developed this element of an ethical fashion curriculum and how it has been mainstreamed at Northumbria University and what the practical side of this project work entailed.

Fairtrade in Business Management
'Embedding Fairtrade scholarship and campaigning in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Business Management Curriculum'
Run by Dr Bob Doherty, Senior lecturer in Social Enterprise & Corporate Responsibility, Liverpool John Moores University 

Learn from Dr Bob Doherty who has already succesfully integrated Fairtrade into a diverse range of Business Management modules.
