The Fairwear Fashion Show is back and bigger and better than ever before! The Fairwear Fashion Show 2010 will be the biggest Fairtrade Fashion Show ever to take place in the UK!

The Fairwear Fashion Show is endorsed by the Fairtrade Foundation and the Ethical Fashion Forum. All Fairwear fashion houses use certified Fairtrade cotton or are members of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO)

Since the creation of the Fairwear brand, the Fairwear Fashion Show has firmly established itself as an important regular fixture in the UK fashion calendar. The next Fairtrade Fashion Show will be held in the stunning surroundings of the beautiful 15th Century Bristol Cathedral, a dramatic and unusual venue. There will be two shows an afternoon and evening performance on 25th February 2010.

Bristol has gained a reputation as one of the UK's leading Fairtrade cities', with an excellent and unrivalled track record for creating dynamic, high profile events and raising public awareness of Fairtrade issues.

As more and more people become aware of the benefits of Fairtrade, many industry leaders, designers, artists, actors and musicians are also joining the cause to promote change in the fashion industry.

Debenhams will be showcasing their 5G range at the show. 5G features Sir Steve Redgrave's fantastic designs which use Fairtrade cotton from Mali.

The Fairwear Fashion Show 2010 will also feature actress Emma Watson's new fashion collection that she has created in conjunction with leading fairtrade design brand, People Tree. The collection brings a youthful and inspiring edge to Fairtrade fashion. The collection will be seen at the Fairwear Fashion Show 2010 catwalk within the first week of its launch!

In Emma Watson words, “I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.”

The actor James Redmond is keen to show his support for this cause and will be modelling at the fashion show. He will also be available to meet people for a chat after the show.

Another celebrity making a guest appearance and keen to get involved is Tara Starlet from C4 programme 'Blood Sweat and T-shirts' will be talking about some of her experiences at the show.

The fashion students from Filton College are keen to show that even at the early stage of their design careers that they are involved in the ever growing debate about ethical fashion. Filton students have been asked once again to design a collection which will be showcased at the Fairwear Fashion Show catwalk in February 2010.

Filton College's media students are creating a 2 minute advert on fairtrade fashion which will be shown at the event. This will be judged by a celebrity panel.

With a wide range of highly talented musicians, artists and dancers keen to be involved in the show it is an event not to be missed by anyone. It truly will be an event that everyone wants to be a part of.
