Fairtrade Fortnight 2010 launch story 

To mark the start of the annual Fairtrade Fortnight (22nd February - 7th March) Harriet Lamb and singer Mica Paris are urging consumers to do something as simple as swapping the brand of tea they buy, to tip the balance of trade in favour of disadvantaged producers. Fairtrade is already helping 750,000 farmers, workers and their families. But according to the Fairtrade Foundation, a seismic shift is needed to help some of the most vulnerable people in the world.
