Fairtrade Schools is changing!
Young people are at the heart of Fairtrade both at home and abroad. When schools in the UK focus on Fairtrade, they show solidarity with children in poorer countries. When they use Fairtrade products, those children get a chance to go to school while their families have a brighter future. That connection brings us together in a powerful global movement for change.
With the support of dedicated teachers across the UK, thousands of schools have already made a commitment to support Fairtrade. Early in 2014 we’ll be changing the Fairtrade Schools Award to give schools better support and more flexibility, while focusing on learning. If your school is already working towards the Award, all your group’s hard work will still count..
