"Nowadays I don’t think twice about buying Fairtrade because the products are all top quality. Producers may seem remote from our daily lives, but their families and children depend heavily upon the income they receive for their products." Donna Air, TV presenter

Teachers Fairtrade Workshops

The Fairtrade Foundation and partner organisations are running a variety of training workshops and inset programmes. Regularly check up this page to know what is happening near you.

What are the workshops about and who are they for?

The workshops are aimed at teachers and Fairtrade campaigners involved in the education sector who want to learn more about Fairtrade and the way to include issues of trade in the curriculum. They will provide opportunities to share ideas and learn from other teachers as well as to ask all the burning questions about Fairtrade. They aim to inspire and reassure those teachers that are thinking about applying for the Fairtrade Schools Award, those already working towards it and those looking for ideas for renewing their status. They also aspire to strengthen the knowledge of issues of trade and why Fairtrade is needed.
