About the Big Swap

Swap your usual stuff for Fairtrade stuff

For this year's Fairtrade Fortnight we asked the nation to join us in The Big Swap. For two whole weeks we asked you to swap your usual stuff for Fairtrade stuff. Your usual bananas for Fairtrade bananas, your usual cotton socks for Fairtrade cotton socks, and your usual cuppa for a Fairtrade cuppa. Whenever you pop to the shops, you can use your wallet to make a stand.

After two weeks that saw tea ladies invade the streets of London, baboons swap their usual bananas to Fairtrade, Paolo Nutini switch his usual band for The Ghana Band and human tea bags hurling themselves into the sea, we've reached our target of a million and one swaps!  Read about those who have helped us hit our target

Your Fairtrade swap still counts!

There is still time to register your swap.
