Why swapping your cuppa makes a difference

We've seen epic bake-offs, fiercely played netball matches and record-breaking banana scoffing - all in the name of Fairtrade Fortnight. This year the theme is swapping but the goal is always the same; to get people talking and buying Fairtrade. And if that takes inflating a giant mug of tea, then so be it.

This year, our campaign focus is tea. We're asking the nation to swap its cuppa for a Fairtrade cuppa. Because however you take your cuppa, it's all the more satisfying knowing that the people who grew and picked it are getting a fairer deal for their hard work.

Our campaigns rely on people like you getting involved and making as much noise as possible (in whatever ways possible) about unfair trade systems. Here you'll find lots of ideas, handy information and ways to take action. No doubt you'll have a whole host of your own ideas too.
