Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance

Get your dancing shoes on and take to the floor for a Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance.

Tea dances with a difference – from ballroom to salsa, ballet to Bollywood and street dance to line dancing – are taking over the country during Fairtrade Fortnight. Each and every event will play its part in getting Britain to swap its cuppa.

We sup a thirst-quenching 165 million cuppas in the UK every day. But currently, only 10% of these are Fairtrade. Thousands of tea workers worldwide are still missing out on a fairer deal. Show your support for these hard-working communities by joining or even organising a local tea dance. You can sup Fairtrade, learn more about the people behind your cuppa and understand the difference that Fairtrade can make.

There’s just two simple rules for any Strictly Fairtrade Tea Dance:

- Rule 1: It’s a dance - any kind of dance.

- Rule 2: It involves tea - but strictly Fairtrade tea.
