Solihull Fairtrade Trail

Solihull Town Centre

Take part in the Solihull Fairtrade Trail displaying colourful art and poetry from school children in well-known shop windows! The children’s work will help to shine a light on the importance of buying Fairtrade and the positive impact Fairtrade has on workers, farmers and communities across the world.

Ethical Retailers Fashion Show

Exmouth Fairtrade presents a Fashion Show with ethical retailers Shopdeadgorgeous and 50 Degrees. Fairtrade crafts and food items also available. Live music, refreshments and the opportunity to try on clothes.

Open Garden Event – share your Fairtrade baked treats

Mayor’s Fairtrade Coffee Morning

Join the Mayor for a special morning of Fairtrade coffee and chat in Penarth. The event not only supports Fairtrade, but aims to raise money and support for Tenovus Cancer Care.

A Garden Party featuring Fairtrade refreshments

17 & 21 September
Ullapool – Argylle Pub, Church of Scotland Hub & Ullapool Garden of Reflection

On 17 September there’ll be a Fairtrade tea dance. On 21 September Ullapool Fairtrade Group will host a Garden Party with music and Fairtrade refreshments in Ullapool Garden of Reflection, which will include a Children’s Treasure Hunt.
In addition, Fairtrade will be incorporated into Geography lessons in Ullapool High School and there will be a Fairtrade display in Macphail Centre during Fortnight.

Visit to Wiltshire by Patrick Kaberia, Fairtrade tea farmer from Kenya. He will be doing presentations in schools and a public meeting to debate climate change; meeting local fairtrade businesses; and attending a reception hosted by the Town Council.

Fairtrade Pocklington are hosting a performance of Chocolate has a name by a group of performers from West Africa who will share contemporary music, poetry and art inspired by cocoa and Fairtrade. Suitable for all age groups.

Fairtrade Stall at Annual County Fair

Future Action Biggleswade (FAB) will be celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight by having a stall at the annual Country Fayre at St. Andrew’s Church in Biggleswade. We will be running our popular banana tower building competition, highlighting 30 years of Fairtrade in the UK and the difference that Fairtrade has made to communities across the world, especially in connection with securing water supplies (a theme for the Country Fayre in 2024).
