Fairtrade Friday

On the last Friday of each month, we come together with companies and supporters to bring attention to the farmers and workers around the world, in some of the poorest countries, who grow the food we eat and make the clothes we wear.

Get involved with September Fairtrade Friday

This autumn we’re celebrating 25 years of the FAIRTRADE Mark. Over the past quarter of a century, Fairtrade and our supporters have been fighting alongside farmers and workers to get them a better deal. Today there are around 1.7 million farmers and workers in 73 countries who benefit from Fairtrade.

Thank you for supporting Fairtrade over the past 25 years. Here’s to the next 25!

Competition

25th giveaway

This month we've partnered with some of our longest standing and most dedicated Fairtrade brands to give away three goody bags full of delicious Fairtrade treats. You can expect to see coffee and tea from Cafédirect, Clipper and Percol, some delicious chocolate from Divine and Chocolate and Love as well as ice-cream (a voucher, don’t worry!) from our friends at Ben & Jerry's.

Behind every coffee bean, tea bag and chocolate bar is a farmer who deserves decent pay for their work so they can support themselves and their families. With Fairtrade, they can expect to receive at least the Fairtrade Minimum Price, and the Fairtrade Premium (an additional sum of money) ensures that they also have the means to invest back into their community.

Make sure you keep looking out for the FAIRTRADE Mark when you shop so that farmers and producers can get a fair price for their work, control their future and lead the dignified life everyone deserves.

The competition will run on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from Friday 27 September to Monday 30 September 2019.
