On the last Friday of each month, we come together with companies and supporters to bring attention to the farmers and workers around the world, in some of the poorest countries, who grow the food we eat and make the clothes we wear.

Get involved with october Fairtrade Friday

This year has been a challenging year for most people, and now, with the days getting shorter and colder, it’s the perfect time to bundle up and establish some self-care habits. This Fairtrade Friday is all about treating yourself in a way that benefits the farmers and workers, too. When you choose products with the Fairtrade Mark, you are choosing a fairer world where producers can fulfil their potential and decide on their future.

Fairtrade is 50 percent owned by farmers, allowing them to determine their own futures and invest the additional Fairtrade Premium in projects of their choice. Only with Fairtrade are farmers and workers protected from the volatility of market price crashes and by following robust Fairtrade Standards, farmers and producers can help protect the environment by choosing the most sustainable farming practices.
