What the Fairtrade team is bringing to Glastonbury 2025
Tote Bag – Dedicated
Glastonbury festival is always a lot bigger than you think – so it’s important you have something to help you easily bring your essentials along with you for when you need then. A tote bag is always a great option to avoid lugging around something heavy.
Dedicated sells bags with 100% organic cotton canvas made by Fairtrade-certified supplier The Rajlakshmi Cotton Mills in Noida, India.
They come in a range of designs – to make sure you’re showing off your style as well as your good decision making.
Sun Cap – SKFK
It’s not always a certainty but, taking place in June, you can usually count on Glastonbury to have a fair bit of sun.
In order to stay safe (and to avoid and awkward sunburn!), something to wear on your head is essential.
SKFK uses 100% sustainable fibers taken from plastic bottles to produce their Nara Cap. These pieces are fluffy, durable and allow savings in production. Waste never looked so good!
Sweet-tooth snack – Coop
There’s always going to be times that you need a little bit of a sugar boost after hours of dancing – and chocolate is one of the best ways to instantly feel better.
Sourced from smallholder farmers in Peru, Coop’s Chunky Salted Caramel and Pretzel chocolate uses Fairtrade cocoa, vanilla and sugar. What that means? Obviously it tastes incredible, but it also means that producers are paid a fairer wage and are supported to improve their livelihoods and invest in their communities.

Salty snacks – Liberation

If you don’t have quite as much of a sweet tooth – Liberation have a range of savoury snacks to keep your energy levels going while you’re at Glastonbury.
Liberation is the UK’s only Fairtrade, farmer-owned nut company. Sourcing their nuts from Nicaragua, Bolivia, India and Burkina Faso, from the cooperatives of small-scale farmers who own a 49% share of the company. Importantly, they’re also delicious.
Lemonade – Karma Drinks
When you need to cool down with a refreshing drink, there’s nothing better than a cold lemonade.
Karma Drinks use a combination of organic lemons and Fairtrade organic cane sugar to bring good fortune to the farmers who get a fair deal for their crop, and a Lemony zing to you.

Bananas – Sainsbury’s

A festival classic while being quintessentially Fairtrade – you can’t go wrong with a bunch of bananas. Versatile and restorative, they’re the perfect morning hangover helper or midday pick-me-up.
100% of all bananas sold in Sainsbury’s are Fairtrade – meaning that you can be sure that they’re helping to contribute to better conditions for farmers.
