Forests in the mountains of Colombia

Spring Climate Stories

This spring, you can hear from Fairtrade farmers and workers through a collection of Fairtrade Climate Stories. Join us online at our next Campaign Catch Up (Thursday 11 April 6 to 7pm), as we share more about how we can Protect Forests with Farmers.

After our Campaign Catch Up, we will share the Fairtrade Climate Stories in a digital format you can then share with your local community.

Fairtrade farmers and workers living with the reality of climate change know we need to protect the world’s forests. Fairtrade is calling on the UK Government to recognise that poverty is a root cause of deforestation and work with smallholder farmers and workers to tackle deforestation through climate funding and changes to the law.  Sign our petition to show your support.

Our Fairtrade Climate Stories outline how protecting forests is a key climate justice issue and how Fairtrade supports farmers and workers to earn a fair wage, so that more and more farmers and workers globally can begin to invest in this vital work.
