Fairtrade Fortnight 2023

Fairtrade Fortnight 2023 took place 27 February – 12 March 2023.

Our annual celebration of all things Fairtrade, this year we focused on encouraging people to switch to Fairtrade products so that farmers and workers overseas can protect the planet and safeguard the future of some of the UK’s favourite foods

Here are some of the things we got up to:

The Endangered Aisle

On Tuesday 28 February, Fairtrade launched The Endangered Aisle, a pop-up immersive retail space at 32 Shoreditch High Street, London. It highlighted the urgent need to protect the future of food and the small switches shoppers can make to play their part.

Campaigner events

We hosted seven free online Big Fairtrade Get Togethers.  Fairtrade fans signed up to hear from Fairtrade farmers and other experts on how we can have a sustainable future for our favourite foods.

Fairtrade campaigners and supporters also held more than 600 Fortnight events up and down the country.

New research
