Cook Along with Euten Lindsay

Host: Fairtrade Connections – Community Arts Festival 

Celebrated Devon-based chef Euten Lindsay will be showing us how to make his Sweet Potato and Callaloo Galette, Rice and Gungo Peas and Piquant Tomato Sauce. You can download Euten’s recipes in advance from the Fairtrade Yorkshire website. This event is sponsored by Pocklington FLAG (Fairtrade and Local Produce Action Group).

Virtual tour of Hadeel craft workshop in Gaza

Let Hadeel take you to Palestine! In this, the first of a fortnightly series, you will be shown around the workshop of the Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children in Gaza. The talented crafters will tell their stories, answer your questions and demonstrate their skills LIVE for you. This event is sponsored by Edinburgh Fairtrade City.

Faces of Fairtrade with Photographer Sean Hawkey

Join acclaimed Brighton-based photographer Sean Hawkey as he talks us through some of the images in his latest book Faces of Fairtrade. Sean visited Fairtrade farmers all around the world, hearing their stories and taking photos to capture their lives.

Bake Fairtrade Espresso Mocha Brownies with Waitrose and Will Torrent

Host: Waitrose & Partners 

Premiering at 6:30pm on 25 February, the Fairtrade Foundation and Waitrose are excited to share a virtual bake-a-long, run by award-winning patisserie chef and chocolatier Will Torrent. He will show us how to cook delicious Fairtrade Espresso Mocha Brownies step-by-step, and we’ll also hear from Fairtrade cocoa farmer, Leocadie.

Fairtrade Taskmaster

Join us for a Saturday morning of silliness with our Fairtrade-themed Taskmaster event. Who will be wearing the best Fair Trade Outfit? Who will make the best FAIRTRADE Mark? Who can use the most Fairtrade products to create something in the kitchen? How will you make your house in March look and feel like a beach? Compete against other families to win prizes with these creative and fun tasks.
